Listen to operators
Understand the program first. Let resident needs and real operating requirements guide the property conversation.
ABOUT TEXAS SPECIALTY HOUSING
Our mission is to help specialty housing operators create the right residential setting for the people they serve.
OUR STORY
Texas Specialty Housing began with a personal need: finding the right care and living environment for our loved ones. That search revealed a gap—too few quality options offering smaller, more personal settings and thoughtfully designed homes for people who need support.
With 25 years of construction experience and hundreds of homes and development projects behind us, we went to work building a company with a clear purpose: to give care and recovery operators better places to serve their clients.
We develop and lease properties for senior memory care and recovery step-down housing, partnering with operators to create spaces that support their programs, their teams, and the people who call those spaces home.
Our goal is to help operators grow while preserving the comfort, dignity, and personal attention that every resident deserves.
WHY WE’RE BUILDING THIS
Texas Specialty Housing is focused on developing and leasing facilities for elderly memory care and recovery step-down programs.
We bring a property perspective to an operator’s vision: a location, a practical layout, and a residential environment built around the program.
Our role is to develop and own the facility while the operating organization provides the care, support, and daily services. That relationship is the foundation of our business.

Our initial focus is memory care homes and recovery step-down housing. We also welcome conversations about assisted living, supportive living, and other transitional housing programs.
If you operate a program and have a facility need, we’d like to understand it.
